About the role 

 

We are looking for a great leader, team player and someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment to join our team as a Duty Manager at Four Square Alexandra.

 

Your day to day:

 

  • Ensuring all departments maintain appropriate store display standards
  • Providing high quality customer service to our valued customers
  • Maintaining stock levels across the store
  • Undertaking necessary administrative functions of the role
  • Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Managing the store as and when required
  • Maintaining the requirements set out by our liquor and lotto licences
  • Ability to oversee staff duties as and when required

 

Hours

 

Sunday 7.30am – 4pm and Monday – Wednesday 6am – 4pm

 

Minimum of 36.5 hours per week.

 

About you

 

  • A Duty Manager Certificate is required or 6 months experience in the sale and supply of alcohol
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and a friendly smile
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to cope well under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Driver's licence preferred, but not essential
